Thursday’s action began in Chicago, where the Bulls maintained their unbeaten home record with a 126–113 win over the Sacramento Kings. Rookie Matas Buzelis scored 27 points in another strong performance, while Zach LaVine led the Kings with 30 points.

The Dallas Mavericks claimed a narrow 107–105 victory against the Indiana Pacers after a tight contest in Texas. Pascal Siakam had 27 points and 13 rebounds for the Pacers, but Brandon Williams’ 20 points helped the Mavericks hold on late.

In Denver, Nikola Jokić delivered yet another triple-double — 21 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists — as the Nuggets cruised past the New Orleans Pelicans 122–88. Jeremy Fears led the Pelicans with 21 points.

The Portland Trail Blazers edged a high-scoring thriller in Utah, beating the Jazz 136–134. Jrue Holiday scored 27 points and provided eight assists for Portland, while Lauri Markkanen impressed for Utah with 32 points and strong defensive play.

The Los Angeles Lakers earned a dramatic 116–115 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, led by Austin Reaves’ 28 points and 16 assists. Julius Randle scored 33 points for Minnesota but couldn’t prevent a narrow defeat.

Rounding off the night, the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Phoenix Suns 114–113 thanks to late heroics from Ja Morant, who finished with 28 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Malik Williams led the Suns with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Overall, it was an action-packed two days across the league.
