Tontitown-based carrier PAMT Corp.[1] posted a net loss and a double-digit revenue decline in the third quarter of 2025.

After the markets closed Tuesday (Oct. 28), PAMT reported a loss of $5.58 million, or a loss of 27 cents per share, in the third quarter compared with earnings of $2.41 million, or 11 cents per share, in the same period last year. Revenue declined by 17.69% to $150.26 million from $182.57 million.

In August, PAMT promoted[2] chief financial officer Lance Stewart to president, CEO and company director. Stewart replaced Joe Vitiritto, who resigned June 27 for family reasons. Chairman Matthew Moroun served as interim CEO after Vitiritto resigned.

Through the first three quarters of 2025, PAMT had a loss of $23.35 million compared with a $217,000 loss in the same period last year. Revenue fell by 16.67% to $456.74 million from $548.11 million.

In logistics operations, revenue declined by 16.79% to $41.75 million in the third quarter from $50.19 million in the same period last year. Through the first three quarters of 2025, revenue fell by 21.89% to $127.01 million from $162.61 million in the same period last year.

  • Total loads fell to 93,853 from 106,061.
  • Revenue per mile fell to $2.06 from $2.10.
  • Average company-driver trucks declined to 1,568 from 1,820.
  • Average owner-operator trucks rose to 501 from 481.

Shares of PAMT (NASDAQ: PAMT) were trading Wednesday (Oct. 29) at $11.02, up 17 cents or 1.56%. In the past 52 weeks, the stock has ranged between $10.51 and $23.70.
