The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has made arrests of five officers of the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). These officers include the Additional Director, Sarfaraz Chaudhry, as well.
According to FIA officials, the arrests of all five officers were made following an inquiry by the FIA Anti-Corruption Circle. The investigation led to the detention of the Additional Director and other NCCIA officials.
The accused are currently under FIA custody and will be presented before the Lahore District Court today.
Sources confirmed that Sarfaraz Chaudhry and other officers have appointed Mian Ali Ashfaq as their lawyer to represent them in court.
