Redmi has introduced the K90 Pro Max, the newest addition to its well-known K series, which has built a reputation in China for delivering high performance at accessible prices. This phone will likely come out in the global market, including Pakistan, under the Poco F series.

Design and Display

The K90 Pro Max brings a variety of finishes. Buyers can select from black and white models featuring textured matte glass or opt for a blue version that utilizes a denim-like fabric on the back, along with a limited Lamborghini edition. The front of the device is fitted with a tall 6.9-inch OLED display, offering a resolution of 2,608 x 1,200 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The screen reaches a peak local brightness of 3,500 nits and is protected by Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass. Security is handled by a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built into the display. The phone is also rated IP68 for resistance to water and dust.

Internals and Software

Under the hood, the K90 Pro Max is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, delivering top-tier performance for demanding tasks. The device runs HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16.

Audio quality receives special attention, featuring a Bose-tuned 2.1-channel speaker system. This setup includes two speakers, one at the top and another at the bottom, along with a separate woofer placed near the rear cameras. Xiaomi promises more bass output with this woofer.

Cameras

On the back, the K90 Pro Max features three cameras, each with a 50MP sensor. The main camera uses a 1/1.31-inch Light Fusion 950 sensor with optical image stabilization, offering a 23mm equivalent focal length and a dynamic range of 13.5EV.

The second camera is a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, providing a 115mm equivalent focal length and 5x optical zoom. The third camera is an ultrawide lens with an 18mm equivalent focal length and a 102-degree field of view. For selfies, the phone is equipped with a 32MP front camera.

Battery and Pricing

The K90 Pro Max is fitted with a 7,560 mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 22.5W reverse wireless charging.

The base model, which comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, is priced at about $561. The top configuration, offering 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, is available for $743.
