OpenAI has officially rolled out new app integrations for ChatGPT, allowing users to connect their favorite platforms including Spotify, Figma, Canva, Coursera, and Booking.com directly within the chatbot. The update enables users to perform tasks such as creating playlists, designing visuals, finding hotels, or discovering online courses all without leaving the chat window.
Since launching its AI assistant, OpenAI has continuously expanded ChatGPT’s usability. With this latest update, the company aims to make ChatGPT a centralized productivity hub, bridging multiple apps for both creative and practical use. Currently, the integrations are available only in the U.S. and Canada, with expansion to other regions expected later this year.
How It Works
To use these integrations, users simply need to log in to ChatGPT, type the name of the app in their prompt (e.g., “Spotify” or “Canva”), and follow the steps to connect their accounts. Alternatively, users can navigate to Settings → Apps and Connectors to manage connections manually.
However, users are advised to review permissions carefully before linking their accounts. For instance, connecting Spotify grants ChatGPT access to playlists and listening history for better personalization.
“These integrations mark a major step in making ChatGPT a one-stop assistant for work, learning, and entertainment,” said an OpenAI representative.
What You Can Do with Each Integration
| App | Functionality |
| Spotify | Create mood-based or artist-specific playlists, discover new songs, and manage your library. |
| Canva | Generate social media posts, presentations, and posters directly through prompts. |
| Figma | Build diagrams, flowcharts, and product roadmaps collaboratively. |
| Booking.com | Find hotels based on budget, dates, and amenities without leaving chat. |
| Coursera | Search, compare, and enroll in online courses tailored to your skill level. |
| Expedia | Browse flight and hotel options using conversational queries. |
| Zillow | Locate homes by price range, location, or features via simple prompts. |
