The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has rejected reports of an alleged cryptocurrency theft worth USD 850,000 at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. The authority’s findings come after a joint investigation with the Airport Security Force (ASF) and police officials.

Mr. Faizyab filed the complaint. According to his petition, four uniformed individuals took him to a separate room inside the airport. He claimed that they seized his phone, accessed his passwords, and transferred cryptocurrency valued at USD 850,000 from his digital wallets.

The PAA and ASF reviewed CCTV footage and checked airport records to verify the allegations. However, the probe revealed no evidence of the incident. Officials stated that no such event appeared on surveillance footage, and the complainant did not report the theft to any airport or ASF authorities at the time.

Further verification showed that the passenger was listed as a “no-show” for his scheduled flight to Peshawar. In addition, a police report submitted to the court confirmed that no such theft occurred at Jinnah International Airport.

Based on all available evidence, authorities have dismissed the claim of any crypto-related theft at the airport. The PAA confirmed that all relevant footage and documents were reviewed, and no irregularities were found.

At this stage, the case appears closed, with no further legal action reported.
