Redmi has revealed new details about the K90 Pro Max ahead of its official launch tomorrow on October 23, focusing this time on the device’s audio setup. The smartphone will include a Bose-branded sound system, including a woofer, developed in collaboration with the audio company.
According to Redmi[1], the K90 Pro Max is equipped with two ultra-linear speakers, likely placed at the top and bottom of the frame. In addition, a large independent woofer has been integrated into the rear panel, positioned next to the camera module. This woofer, also bearing Bose branding, is designed to enhance low-frequency output, meaning bass-heavy sounds with thumps.
Bose reportedly assisted with tuning the entire speaker system, though Redmi has not disclosed technical specifications such as peak loudness or decibel range. The company claims the setup will deliver clear vocals, detailed audio, and improved bass performance, but further verification will depend on real-world testing after launch.
Core Specifications
As previously reported, the Redmi K90 Pro Max will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It features a very tall 6.9-inch OLED display with RGB sub-pixel structure and DC dimming support that extends across the full brightness range, down to 1 nit for low-light use.
The main camera houses a 1/1.31-inch sensor, joined by ultrawide and 5x periscope telephoto lenses. The phone draws power from a 7,560 mAh battery, supporting 100W wired, 50W wireless, and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
Additional launch details, including full specifications and audio performance metrics, are expected at the event on October 23.
