The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a new partnership with Beaconhouse School System to offer free education to 120 young cricketers across Pakistan, according to a statement[1]. The initiative marks a significant step by PCB toward ensuring holistic development for emerging athletes, balancing sports training with academic education.

Under this three-year agreement, Beaconhouse will provide full scholarships to talented players from the U15, U17, and U19 categories representing 16 regional teams across the country. The partnership between PCB and Beaconhouse will run from July 31, 2025, to July 31, 2028, allowing these young cricketers to pursue education alongside their professional cricket journey without financial pressure.

The signing ceremony was held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, in the presence of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, COO Sumair Ahmed Syed, white-ball head coach Mike Hesson, and senior PCB officials. During the event, Mohsin Naqvi commended Beaconhouse for supporting Pakistan’s cricketing ecosystem, calling the collaboration “a landmark initiative that blends education with sport.”

The PCB confirmed that the list of 120 players eligible for the free education program has already been submitted to Beaconhouse. Selections were made on merit, taking into account regional performances in age-group tournaments.
