The Chinese version of the Pad 2 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. It will be offered in three configurations: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB. The device features a 3K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate, promising a sharp and fluid visual experience.

While the Chinese Pad 2 gets a MediaTek chip, the global variant, launched in July 2024, uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It also offers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. According to the leaks,[2] the global model comes with a 9,510mAh battery, supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and runs OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15.

Camera-wise, it includes a 13MP rear sensor, while the new Chinese edition is expected to focus more on display and performance refinements. Together, these updates indicate that OnePlus aims to deliver a more performance-centric tablet experience tailored to its domestic market.
