Huawei has officially introduced the Nova Flip S in China, expanding its lineup of stylish foldable smartphones. The latest model builds on last year’s Nova Flip, bringing refreshed color options and a more affordable price tag.
The Nova Flip S is available in Feather Black, White, Azure Blue, Green, Soft Pink, and Star Black. Huawei[1] has also revised the pricing, starting at CNY 3,388 (around $475) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. This makes it one of the most affordable foldable phones currently available in China.

Powering the device is an unnamed Kirin 8 series chipset, which recent reports suggest is the Kirin 8030. For comparison, the standard Nova Flip featured the Kirin 8000.
Aside from the processor and price, most specifications remain unchanged. The phone features a 2.14-inch OLED cover display and a 6.94-inch LTPO OLED main screen with FHD+ resolution and a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate. It packs a 4,400 mAh battery that supports 66 W wired charging, ensuring quick top-ups.

According to the source[2], in the camera department, the Nova Flip S sports a 50MP main sensor with a 1/1.56-inch RYYB lens and f/1.9 aperture, paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, a 32MP selfie shooter handles portraits and video calls.
The smartphone runs on HarmonyOS 5.1 and is already available for pre-order in China. With its competitive pricing and sleek upgrades, the Huawei Nova Flip S aims to capture consumers looking for an affordable entry into the foldable market.
