An ancient Hopi prophecy predicts the rise of a mysterious figure known as the ‘True White Brother,’ marked by a red cap, who would change the nation forever.
Believed to be centuries old, the prophecy comes from the Hopi tribe of the southwestern US, whose wisdom has guided generations for over a thousand years.
In 1992, spiritual elder Thomas Banyacya brought the prophecy to the United Nations[1], warning that during a time of great turmoil and rapid technological change, an individual bearing a symbolic ‘red hat’ would emerge, shaping the fate of the world.
‘We were told that three helpers who were commissioned by the Great Spirit to help Hopi bring about the peaceful life on earth would appear to help us,’ Banyacya said. ‘So we have been waiting all these years.’
The prophecy was recently discussed on the SundayCool podcast[2], which explores captivating stories and conspiracy theories.
Co-host Josh Hooper read the prophecy for listeners, noting: ‘It is known that our True White Brother, when he comes, will be all-powerful and will wear a red cap or red cloak.’
He displayed an image of former President Donald Trump wearing his signature MAGA hat as an example.
‘He will be large in population and belong to no religion but his own,’ the podcast host added, explaining he will be joined by two wise and powerful helpers, whom he speculated could be Vice President JD Vance and billionaire Elon Musk.

These teachings foresee a period of upheaval and purification, known as the ‘Great Purification’ or ‘Third Shaking,’ brought on by humanity’s greed, corruption and disregard for nature.
The prophecies also mention specific technological signs, catastrophic events, and the eventual birth of a Fifth World of peace and harmony if humanity chooses the right path.
The red-capped figure is said to appear during this Fourth World, serving as a guide to help humanity navigate the chaos.
The red cap itself is a distinguishing symbol, similar to others in Hopi prophecy, marking the figure as significant for fulfilling the prophecy.
The True White Brother is sometimes described as a messenger whose presence may influence humanity’s choices and the transition to the Fifth World, a new era of balance and harmony.
The prophecy also describes two helpers who will appear alongside the True White Brother.
One is associated with the swastika, representing purity and female life-giving energy, while the other is linked to the symbol of the sun, representing wisdom and power.

One will have the symbol of the moja, or cross, which Hooper suggested that the cross might actually be an X, aligning with Musk’s social media platform known as X.
According to the text, if the three helpers fail in their mission, a figure from the west will arrive like a powerful storm, numerous and ruthless, sweeping across the land quickly, like a swarm of red ants.
But if even one, two, or all three of the true Hopi remain faithful to the ancient teachings, the Great Spirit, Massauu, will appear, and the world will be saved.
Those who succeed in fulfilling the prophecy will establish a new way of life that brings lasting peace and abundance.
The earth will be restored: flowers will bloom, wildlife will return, and food will be plentiful. ‘Those who are saved will share everything equally, and they all will recognize the Great Spirit and speak one language,’ the prophecy says.
The Hopi, the westernmost group of Pueblo Indians, have lived in northeastern Arizona on the edge of the Painted Desert for centuries.
Their oral traditions emphasize harmony with nature and adherence to spiritual guidance.
The True White Brother prophecy has long been regarded as a moral and spiritual teaching rather than a literal prediction of modern political figures.
Its symbolic imagery, a red-capped leader, three helpers, and signs of the swastika and sun, continues to capture public imagination and inspire discussion about humanity’s choices in times of upheaval.
Banyacya and other Hopi elders have emphasized that the prophecy is intended as guidance and warning, not a naming of contemporary individuals.
