Arkansas Heart Hospital (AHH) announced the promotion of Jacob Robinson to president. In this new role, Robinson will oversee all day-to-day operations of the cardiovascular hospital.
“Jacob has been instrumental in shaping the next chapter of Arkansas Heart Hospital,” said Dr. Bruce Murphy, CEO of Arkansas Heart Hospital. “He’s helped us grow with purpose, guided our team with heart and vision, and mentored those who will carry our mission forward. His promotion to president marks an exciting step in our continued evolution.”
Robinson joined AHH in 2018, most recently serving as chief strategy and operations officer. Under his leadership, the hospital system opened its second state-of-the-art hospital facility, Encore Medical Center in Saline County, which brought specialized cardiovascular care and bariatric weight loss surgery to this growing region of central Arkansas.
Before joining AHH, Robinson held leadership roles at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway, where he led operational initiatives, enhancing patient flow and reducing wait times, which contributed to higher patient satisfaction and improved outcomes.
Robinson sits on the board of directors for the Bryant Boys and Girls Club and serves on the Alumni Advisory Board for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ Master of Health Administration program.
Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree in health sciences with an emphasis in health services administration from the University of Central Arkansas and a master’s in health services administration from UAMS.
