In a major crackdown against digital fraud, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has uncovered a large-scale online job scam network that was deceiving citizens through fake employment and training programs. The operation was carried out at a private school located on Bosan Road, Multan, where officials arrested eight suspects involved in defrauding people of millions of rupees.

According to an NCCIA spokesperson, the accused were operating under the name “Natural Life Skill Training Institute,” luring victims with false promises of online jobs and skill development courses. The arrested individuals include the alleged mastermind Abdul Ghaffar, along with Nisar Ahmed, Muawiya, Huzaifa Tanveer, Hammad Hasan, Asad Saleem, Khalid, and Zain Abbas.

“These criminals exploited digital platforms to target job seekers, collecting money under the guise of training fees and remote employment offers,” said the NCCIA spokesperson.

During the raid, authorities seized mobile phones, laptops, and detailed financial records linked to the fraudulent activities. Evidence from WhatsApp and Telegram groups revealed blackmail attempts and financial scams orchestrated by the network.

A case has been registered under FIR No. 252/2025 in accordance with the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016 and relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). The NCCIA confirmed that investigations are ongoing to trace additional suspects and financial links to the operation.

Officials have urged citizens to remain cautious of online job advertisements, verify the authenticity of employers before making any payments, and report suspicious activities via the official cybercrime helpline or web portal.
