German industrial powerhouse KSB has announced plans to set up a major manufacturing facility in Pakistan, marking a significant step in deepening economic cooperation between the two countries. The announcement followed a meeting between a high-level KSB delegation and Federal Minister for Board of Investment (BOI) Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, where new opportunities for investment and partnership were discussed.

KSB officials praised Pakistan’s improving investment climate, noting that their past experience in the country had been “highly positive.” The delegation expressed strong interest in expanding KSB’s footprint within Pakistan’s industrial and engineering sectors.

Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh welcomed the decision, emphasizing Pakistan’s potential as a growing market of over 250 million consumers and reaffirming the government’s commitment to facilitating foreign investors. He encouraged KSB and other global companies to invest in Special Economic Zones (SEZs), highlighting the government’s pro-investment policies and improving business environment.

The minister also noted the recent milestones achieved by the Pakistan Stock Exchange and the positive economic momentum driven by reforms. KSB’s decision to expand operations is being seen as a sign of renewed global confidence in Pakistan’s economic revival.

“KSB’s expansion reflects the international business community’s trust in Pakistan’s long-term economic potential,” said Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh during the meeting.
