Fortnite is gearing up for a high-profile crossover with Tron: Ares, as it released a themed bundle today (October 7, 2025) alongside the Item Shop reset.
The collaboration coincides closely with the film’s theatrical debut and will introduce a custom Ares (Tron) skin, LEGO style variant, emotes, and more.
Tron: Ares Bundle
The bundle is expected to feature a primary Ares (Tron) outfit with three selectable styles, back bling (Dillinger Disc), a pair of pickaxes, a jet glider, emotes like Lil’ Light Bike and Portal Beam, and the “Out of Tron” wrap.
Leaked price estimates place the outfit at 1,500 V Bucks, with other items ranging from 300 to 1,500 V Bucks depending on rarity.
Significantly, the bundle is said to include a free LEGO style and bonus emotes, making it more than just pay to own cosmetic content.
According to leaks, the Out of Tron wrap and accessory sets may also be purchasable individually.
Release Timing & Regional Access
The Tron:Ares bundle is set to appear in the Item Shop at 7 PM ET, which translates to approximately 4 AM PKT for players in Pakistan. Which means, fans in Pakistan will wake up to a Disney surprise!
Leaks from prominent Fortnite leakers such as Hypex[1] and ShiinaBR confirmed that the collab will roll out globally. As it turns out, they were also right about multiple cosmetic types including outfits, wraps, and emotes are included.

First Glimpse of Jared Leto as Ares
Ahead of release, fans got a first look at the Jared Leto Ares skin, showing multiple style variants: one with helmet, one with semi transparent visor, and one unmasked.
The skin aims for high fidelity, capturing Leto’s likeness, and includes accessories like the Dillinger Disc and specialized weapon wraps.
What to Expect from Fortnite x Tron: Ares
This crossover arrives just days before the film’s release, adding synergy between Fortnite’s massive platform and the movie’s promotional strategy. It also reflects Fortnite’s approach to combining premium cosmetics with bonus content to soften the perception of steep pricing, especially in regional markets like Pakistan where conversion and V Buck cost matter.
Finally, given the scale of past collabs such as Marvel and Star Wars, high server demand is expected. Some regions have previously experienced delays or sync issues during shop resets, a factor players should anticipate.
What to Watch & How to Claim
- Log in and head to Item Shop.
- Navigate to the shop tab and look for the Tron Ares bundle or individual cosmetic items.
- If it doesn’t appear immediately, force close or relaunch the game to refresh the shop cache.
- Once claimed, the LEGO style and emotes should unlock automatically.
- Watch how local regional pricing impacts V Buck to PKR costs, as some items may carry steep regional equivalents.
