- The Hulu with Live TV bundle is discounted to $64.99 per month for 3 months until October 23
- The regular monthly price is $82.99 per month, which is increasing to $89.99 per month as of October 21
- Includes Disney+ and ESPN in the bundle
Until October 23, Hulu’s Live TV bundle[1] will be available to new subscribers (or to those who have not been Hulu[2] subscribers for the past month) for $64.99 per month for three months[3]. That’s a more than 20% saving compared to the typical price of $82.99 per month.
It’s a great deal for newbies or those who might have recently cancelled their subscriptions, but it’s also a smart business move. Following Jimmy Kimmel’s show being temporarily paused[4], which led to subscriber outrage, Disney announced price hikes[5] for all of its streaming services on September 24.
This means the same Hulu with live TV bundle, which includes Disney+ and ESPN Select with ads, will soon be $89.99 per month from October 21, which is a $7 monthly increase. Ouch. It goes without saying that there’s never been a better time to subscribe if you’ve been thinking about it, because who can say no to the best deal Hulu has put out all year?
Opinion: Hulu’s best bundle deal in ages is also a strategic appetizer
Hulu might be busy prepping for its Halloween[6] special and still riding high on megahits like Only Murders in the Building season 5[7], but we’ve not fully put the drama behind us.
There’s been a lot to go through as a Hulu or Disney+[8] subscriber of late, and the price increase felt like the final nail in the coffin. So, if the company wants to win subscribers back and meet its annual targets, dollars have gotta be knocked off the price tag.
Given how effective the post-Kimmel boycott was, I’m not surprised we’re seeing such an incredible deal so soon. The jury’s still out for how many might sign up or return, but there’s plenty of reasons to, if you ask me.
Let’s start with the content. We’ve got the Buffy reboot[9], The Handmaid’s Tale spinoff The Testaments[10] and Shōgun season 2[11] all still to come, and that’s without rewatching some of the year’s best, like The Bear season 4 and Alien: Earth[12].
It’s certainly one of the best streaming services[13] around when it comes to quality content, but we’ve got added bonuses with this particular bundle. Younger family members can relive the Disney magic anytime they want, while sports fans have ESPN to fall back on.
For everything else, there’s live TV, so you’re covered for every mood, emotion or occasion. And that’s just the stuff we know! Disney’s making big moves with Hulu’s global launch[14] and full integration into a single app in 2026[15], so who knows what else is to come?
