Huawei introduced its Nova 14 series[1] in May, and the lineup recently expanded globally. Now, the company is adding a fourth device, the Nova 14i. Despite the new branding, the phone is essentially a reworked Huawei Enjoy 60X, also known as the Nova Y91, which both debuted in 2023.

The Nova 14i keeps the same design and hardware as those earlier models but comes in fresh finishes. Buyers can choose between black and blue, giving the phone a slightly updated look.

The device features a 6.95-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. A noticeable notch on top houses the 8MP selfie camera and the earpiece. Interestingly, Huawei is pushing Always-on Display support here, even though the panel is LCD.

Powering the Nova 14i is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680, a chipset first introduced in 2021. On the back, the phone carries a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor.

Software is handled by EMUI 14.2, while the phone also packs a massive 7,000 mAh battery. Charging is capped at 22.5W wired speeds, which is modest for a battery this large.

According to the leaks[2], Huawei has yet to confirm pricing or availability for the Nova 14i. However, more details are expected soon as the device begins rolling out globally.
