Locals have been issued with a major warning after the large tremor struck the islands in Asia.
The earthquake is believed to have erupted at around 10 pm local time. It is said to have occured underwater.

A video has emerged of the religious site falling apart before the cross dropped onto the ground.
Passers-by could be heard screaming as they ran in another direction.
The incident happened in Bantayan town.

A popular influencer was in the middle of filming a livestream at a restaurant when the venue began to shake.
Sam Pepper was talking to his fans but suddenly stopped when he realised something was wrong.
He captured the moment on video. He was later filmed running down a staircase with other diners.
