Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named the fourth-best women’s goalkeeper in the world at the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris.
The Nigerian shot-stopper narrowly missed out on the Yashin Trophy for best female goalkeeper, which went to England’s Hannah Hampton. Ann-Katrin Berger of Germany finished second, while Spain’s Cata Coll came third. Dutch goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar placed fifth.
Nnadozie is currently the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year and is strongly tipped to retain her crown after another outstanding season for both club and country.
She played a key role in helping Nigeria’s Super Falcons win the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and also delivered brilliant performances for Paris FC before making a summer move to Brighton & Hove Albion, where she has already made an impressive start.
This latest recognition confirms Nnadozie’s status as one of the finest goalkeepers in world football.
