About
Absolute Joker is a villain in the Absolute[1] Batman[2] comic book series. He is depicted as a reptilian-human hybrid with a gaping mouth lined with pointy teeth. The villain appears in the Absolute Universe imprint in DC Comics[3], a series in which superheroes are depicted as underdogs in society. After Scott Snyder posted a preview of Absolute Joker in September 2025, internet[4] users began sharing memes[5] and jokes about the struggles Absolute Batman faces in Gotham, and how he is made to fight enemies much stronger and more vile than his mainstream counterpart. Internet users also began sharing jokes that followed the phrasal template[6], “First Look at Absolute X,” posting images of interdimensional or overpowered beings from other shows to joke about what characters like Deadshot, Two-Face and Scarecrow could look like in the Absolute Universe.
