While Vice President JD Vance[1] still has majority support, a new survey of Republicans says the door to 2028 may not be completely closed for Gov. Ron DeSantis[2] or Secretary of State Marco Rubio[3].

Vance’s 55% support gives him a strong lead, but DeSantis has 16% and Rubio 12% in the Atlas Intel[4] poll conducted between Sept. 12 and Sept. 16.

None of the above has 8%, while Vivek Ramaswamy is at 6%. No other polled name was over 2%.

Atlas Intel polling[5] has been relatively favorable to the two Florida men as it contemplates the 2028 cycle.

In July, DeSantis had 13% support and Rubio had 10%.

Previous polling[6] from Atlas Intel showed Rubio approaching 20% and DeSantis under 10%.
