Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has hit back at people who criticised Joao Felix for joining the Saudi club.
Felix moved to Al-Nassr in a deal worth £26 million, which could rise to £43 million, after leaving Chelsea this summer.
Many football fans were surprised by the move and questioned why the 25-year-old would leave Europe to play in the Saudi Pro League.
Since joining Al-Nassr, Felix has played five matches, scoring a hat-trick on his debut and providing one assist.
However, a well-known Portuguese podcast called Chuveirinho recently criticised Felix, saying it was too early in his career to leave European football.
Ronaldo responded by posting a comment on Instagram under a clip from the podcast. He wrote:
“Idiots don’t understand anything about football, yet they still give their opinions.”
