A shocking video caught the moment a hairdresser told her client to ‘f*** off’ in a foul-mouthed rant at an unhappy customer
This is the shocking moment a hairdresser gave her unhappy customer[1] a foul-mouthed four-word response.
Paige Kakahi, 24, booked a last-minute appointment on September 12 for a wash, cut, and blow-dry ahead of a dinner with her in-laws. Before the blow-dry was finished, Paige said she was quickly ushered out of the salon as it was about to close.
When she refused to pay full price[2] for the incomplete service, the hairdresser[3] reportedly lost her temper and began yelling as things kicked off. A video caught the moment the hairdresser yelled at the raging customer and told her to “pay and f*** off”.

Paige, the owner of a roofing company in Brisbane, Australia[6], said: “To be honest, it became quite scary. I didn’t realise how much it upset me until I was home watching the video over.”
Paige normally gets a wash and blow-dry once a week, but when her usual hairdresser was fully booked, she had to look elsewhere. After posting in a local Facebook[7] group for hair appointments, the salon was the first to respond.
She rushed over and explained exactly what she wanted – a simple wash and cut with her hair blow-dried straight.
Paige said: “At first, everything seemed normal. I was happy with my wash and cut but then came the blow-dry. The woman initially doing my hair, who is not the person you see in the video, started blow-drying it without the nozzle.
“I asked her about it and she said it would be fine and reaffirmed she would blow-dry my hair straight. But she soon left because she had to go pick up her son, which is when the woman from the video took over.
“She rushed through trying to blow-dry my hair, but when six o’clock rolled around, she just stopped and told me I had to leave now. My hair was still a curly mess at this point, so I wasn’t happy with the service.”
Paige told the woman that she did not want to pay full price since the service hadn’t been completed. According to Paige, the woman took offense and began arguing[8].
In a video recorded by the customer, who was holding her two-month-old baby, the woman can be heard saying: “Don’t give your opinion, you’re not a professional. We don’t need your opinion. Did I ask for it?”
She later continued: “Don’t show that f***** attitude. Get that in your 24-year-old skull and have respect for a business.”
Paige said: “I remained calm and polite while trying to explain my position, but this woman kept pointing and yelling at me. She said I had no idea what I was talking about because I’m not trained but I do get my hair done weekly so I know what is possible and what is not.
“She also blamed my hair type, because I have curlier hair, but I showed her a picture of my hair after a blow dry to try and prove that it was an issue with the salon, not me. I felt my request was pretty reasonable, especially considering I was being rushed out of the shop before the session was actually done. But clearly she felt otherwise.”
Paige ultimately paid full price for the service, feeling pressured by the woman and anxious to remove herself and her baby from the situation.
She said: “A lot of people commented on the video asking why I ended up paying. To be honest it was just a way to get out. I was sick of arguing with this aggressive, abusive person, and it just became not worth it.” The hair salon has been contacted for comment.
