Known and reliable insider Nate the Hate has said several times this year that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be flying over to the PlayStation[1] at somepoint, but now we might have a release date.

Polish website ppe.pl claims to have the scoop on this one.[2] According to author Matthew Sparrow, someone by the name Graczdari – apparently known to be fairly reliable in Poland – has told them that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is going to land on PS5 in November.

“The Redmond corporation plans to offer Sony fans in the coming weeks… Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024! According to the first information, the game will debut in a new edition later this year, more precisely in November,” said Sparrow.

Apparently, there will also be a boxed edition available, too.

Of course, it’ll be joining quite a few other former Xbox exclusives on PlayStation’s machine, including the recent Gears of War: Reloaded and Forza Horizon 5[4]. So far, Xbox has found mixed success with bringing its games over. Forza Horizon 5, for example, has sold extremely well, while Gears of War: Reloaded doesn’t seem to have done as well.[3][5]

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is the kind of game that draws in a hardcore crowd, though, so it might find a lot of success on Sony’s platform.

If the November launch date is true, Microsoft will likely be looking to make an announcement soon. Sony has a State of Play coming up in the next few weeks, but so far, Microsoft has refrained from announcing anything on shows like that, preferring to instead do it on social media, for the most part.
