Earlier this year, Paramount set January 29, 2027 as the release date for The Angry Birds Movie 3[1]. But now, the film is being moved up by just over a month to arrive ahead of Christmas 2026. The new release date for The Angry Birds Movie 3 is December 23, 2026.

As reported by Deadline[2], YouTube sensation Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast has been added to the voice cast of The Angry Birds Movie 3 alongside Webby Award winner Salish Matter. Neither of their roles were disclosed.

Jason Sudeikis is among the returning cast members as the voice of Red, with Josh Gad as Chuck, Rachel Bloom as Silver, Anthony Padilla as Hal, Ian Hecox as Bubbles, and Danny McBride as Bomb. Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Tim Robinson, Lily James, Marcello Hernandez, Walker Scobell, and Sam Richardson have also been cast in the movie.

John Rice is slated to direct The Angry Birds Movie 3. His previous credits include Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, Rick and Morty, Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons Ride, and The Happy Elf. Rovio and Sega are set to produce The Angry Birds Movie 3.

The Angry Birds franchise began with the release of the first game in 2009, and the most recent game, Angry Birds Bounce[3], was released on Apple Arcade[4] earlier this year.
