Veteran litigator Jim Moseley will head up team of lawyers specializing in transportation law in Northeast Florida.

A prominent Jacksonville law firm is adding several veteran lawyers to its roster who will focus on transportation litigation.

GrayRobinson[1] expanded its stable of legal eagles, especially in the areas of global maritime and transportation practice. The lawyers hired by the firm all have extensive careers.

The lawyers joining Gray Robinson include Jim Moseley Jr.[2], Shea M. Moser[3], Joni Poitier[4], Phil Buhler[5], Bob Parrish[6], Charlie Trippe Jr.[7] and Carson E. Proctor[8]. Mosely is being assigned the firm’s leadership role in admiralty and maritime law.

“We are excited to expand our maritime and transportation practices with the addition of this superb team of attorneys,” said GrayRobinson President and CEO Dean Cannon[9].

“Under the guidance of Jim Moseley, this team is internationally known for its deep knowledge and proven capabilities in the admiralty and maritime industries. We are thrilled to have them at GrayRobinson and look forward to the expanded value they will bring to our clients in Florida and beyond.”

Moseley is a grizzled and well-versed litigator in law surrounding admiralty and maritime issues, with some 40 years in courtroom experience. He’s also the former President of the Jacksonville Bar Association[10] and is an active member in the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute[11]. He was also noted in Best Lawyers in America[12] for admiralty and maritime law.

Moseley said he’s ready for the leadership role and that GrayRobinson will provide one of the foremost arsenals of maritime lawyers in Northeast Florida. The area is steeped in nautical interests, with an international port and other transportation hubs centered in Jacksonville.

“Our team is eager to begin this new chapter at GrayRobinson,” Moseley said. “Wrapping our specialized maritime and transportation experience into the firm’s full-service legal and lobbying platform creates an opportunity to provide our clients with even stronger and more comprehensive support. We are excited to work alongside our new colleagues to expand these practices and contribute to the firm’s global success.”
