While co-hosting NBC’s morning show Today With Jenna & Friends, Cardi B[1] announced that her first headlining arena run, dubbed the Little Miss Drama Tour, would be kicking off next year. The trek takes its name from her forthcoming sophomore album Am I the Drama?[2], which arrives on Friday.
Presales for tickets launch next week. The Cardi B Artist Presale begins Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. local time and is open for sign-up[3] on Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. PT. The general sale will begin Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. local time as well via Ticketmaster.
Cardi’s tour and second album are highly anticipated following the massive success of her mainstream debut, Invasion of Privacy, in 2018. She gave birth to her first child, Kulture Kiari Cephus, a few months after that album was released and right as she was planning for a national tour. “I was really, really scared,” Cardi told Rolling Stone[4] in the June 2024 cover story. “I just [felt] like, damn, I’m letting everybody down. I’m letting my family down. I’m letting everybody that works for me down.” She backed out of the tour to be home with Kulture. “My baby was so little — germs and planes and ear popping on a newborn?” Cardi said. “Can you imagine a baby in a fucking tour bus?”
In September 2021, Cardi B and Offset welcomed their second child, a son named Wave, and then three years later, Cardi gave birth to their youngest child together, Blossom. However, at this stage in motherhood, Cardi has been eager to tour. She recently told Billboard[5] that she’ll work to make her first-ever headlining tour special: “I always say this: I have two left feet, but I’m going to have to get a fake leg. A right one because I’m going to give it my all. This is going to be one of the greatest tours. I’m going to make it the best.”
Earlier this week, Cardi revealed that Am I the Drama? will feature[6] Janet Jackson, Selena Gomez, Summer Walker, Lizzo, Cash Cobain, Tyla, and Megan Thee Stallion.
