Vivo has confirmed new details about its upcoming X300 and X300 Pro smartphones, with the standard X300 positioned as the successor to the X200 Pro mini. Unlike previous years, there will be no separate mini model.
The X300 will feature a 6.31-inch LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and slimmer bezels than its predecessor. The device will come equipped with a Zeiss 200 MP primary rear camera and an upgraded Zeiss APO telephoto camera with macro support. On the front, it will carry a 50 MP Zeiss selfie camera with autofocus capability.
Vivo stated that the phone will use an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, reportedly 20% faster than the previous version. Additionally, it will include a 17% larger vapor chamber compared to the X200 Pro mini, improving thermal management during intensive use.
The X300 will include a USB 3.2 port and support for LHDC lossless audio over wireless connections, enhancing data transfer speeds and audio quality.
The X300 series is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC. The lineup is rumored to launch in China next month, though official release dates are yet to be announced.
