The iPhone 17 series was officially announced a few days ago, including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the all-new iPhone 17 Air, which is now the thinnest iPhone to date. There is still some time before the phone becomes available in our country, but that gives us enough time to calculate an approximate iPhone 17 series price in Pakistan.

The base iPhone 17 is priced at $799 in the US, which converts to Rs. 226,913 based on the current exchange rate. Adding the expected PTA taxes, expected and calculated courtesy of PhoneWorld[1] (Rs. 128,766 on passport and Rs. 154,293 on CNIC), the cost adds up to Rs. 355,679 – Rs. 381,206. Adding local retailer margin, which is often added varyingly by several retailers, we can expect a PTA-approved iPhone 17’s price in Pakistan to be between Rs. 360,000 and Rs. 400,000.
As for the iPhone 17 Air, priced at $999 (converts to Rs. 283,713), adding the PTA taxes (Rs. 151,322 on passport and Rs. 175,949 on CNIC) brings the cost to Rs. 435,035 – Rs. 459,622, meaning the final iPhone 17 Air price in Pakistan after retailer margins should be between Rs. 450,000 – Rs. 500,000.
The iPhone 17 Pro is priced at $1099, which is Rs. 312,112 at the moment. Adding the PTA taxes (Rs. 172,789 on passport and Rs. 210,317 on CNIC), the cost arrives at Rs. 484,901 – Rs. 522,429. The retail margins should bring a PTA-approved iPhone 17 Pro’s price in Pakistan somewhere between Rs. 500,000 and Rs. 550,000.
iPhone 17 Pro Max is going to retail for $1199 in the US, which is Rs. 340,512. If you add the taxes (Rs. 182,710 on passport and Rs. 213,631 on CNIC), the cost rises to Rs. 532,222 – Rs. 554,143, which means iPhone 17 Pro Max’s price in Pakistan after margins should be expected between Rs. 550,000 and Rs. 600,000.
Note that all these prices are calculated on the base models only, and higher storage variants will cost even more.
