Epic Games has dropped Fortnite Update 37.20, and it’s one of the most feature-packed patches of Chapter 6 Season 4.

From streamer collabs to mythic weapons and community-wide quests, this update gives players plenty to grind for and talk about. Here are some of the new developments of the new update:

Kai Cenat Joins Fortnite v37.20 Update

One of the biggest highlights of Fortnite Update 37.20 is the addition of popular streamer Kai Cenat to the Icon Series. His in-game bundle will be released this weekend during his Mafiathon 3 stream, and fans might even get a chance to snag it for free during giveaways.

Also spotted in the game files is the arrival of Peacemaker (John Cena). The DC antihero skin will feature an Eagly back bling, a helmet toggle option, and two emotes “Peaceful Hips,” complete with dance and theme song, and “Eat Peace,” which throws up the iconic peace sign.

Epic has also decrypted four new skins. Two of them take inspiration from hip-hop and street art culture, while the remaining two are expected to be part of Fortnitemares 2025.

Free Pickaxe and Megazord Community Quest

Players now have a shot at earning the De-Rezz De-Stroyer Pickaxe completely free. All it takes is either two Victory Royales in Reload mode or gaining ten account levels across Fortnite’s creative experiences; battle pass levels don’t count for this reward.

Even more exciting is the launch of the Megazord Community Quest. The entire Fortnite player base is being called to arms to fight off a bug swarm and collect all five parts of the legendary Megazord. Once completed, players will receive a themed loading screen and unlock the Megazord Mythic item on September 16.

New Weapons and Returning Favorites

Weapons are also getting a shake-up in Fortnite Update 37.20. The new Blade Blaster arrives as a Power Rangers-themed sidearm that fires rapid hip-shots but packs explosive power when aimed down sights.

Fan-favorite Rail Gun makes its return to Battle Royale, giving players another high-damage option for precision shooting. Blitz mode also gets a major refresh with the addition of five Marvel Mythics, including Iron Man’s Flight Kit, Captain America’s Shield, Spider-Man’s Web Shooters, and Shuri’s Black Panther Claws.

Epic teased an upcoming Awesome Exotics Week, which will flood the loot pool with exotic weapons. Plus, a new Slap Co POI has been added to Blitz mode for players to explore.

Legendary Royale Event and Mode Tweaks in v37.20 Update

Reload mode is getting spicier with a Legendary Royale event, where certain unranked matches will spawn with rare chest-only loot. Epic confirmed that the chances of these special lobbies will increase as the week progresses, giving players a reason to keep jumping in.

UI Overhauls and Future Content Leaks

This patch also refreshes several menus, including the Career Tab, quest tracking system, and Ranked UI for a cleaner experience.

Dataminers have found clues for upcoming content, including files for Chapter 6 Mini-Season 2 updates. Rumors suggest this could bring a Simpsons crossover season, which would be one of Fortnite’s biggest pop-culture tie-ins yet.

Leaked content also points to upcoming vehicles like the Batmobile and DeLorean from Rocket League, Daft Punk music instruments for Fortnite Festival, and an all-new Party Crashers LTM.
