A gang of fraudsters carried out multiple scams in Faisalabad, stealing significant amounts of money, mobile phones, and ATM cards from several citizens. The most serious incident occurred outside an HBL branch on Millat Road within the Sargodha Road police jurisdiction.

Police said Humaira Zia, a data entry operator at NADRA, was approached by three men posing as bank staff while she was using the ATM. Claiming to be on duty at the machine, they persuaded her to hand over her card and PIN. One suspect then switched her card inside the booth and later withdrew Rs. 151,805 from her account.
