Ahmed Musa will continue playing football for Kano Pillars FC, even though he has now also taken on the role of General Manager at the club.

Kano Pillars captain Ahmed Musa is back in training after picking up a small injury that kept him out for a few days.

Musa got injured during Kano Pillars’ Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday two game against Wikki Tourists. The club did not share details about the injury.

Because of the injury, the former Super Eagles captain missed last weekend’s 1-0 derby loss to Katsina United.

Now, Musa is fit again and could play in Pillars’ matchday four clash against Rangers. The game will be held at the Sani Abacha Stadium this weekend.

Kano Pillars have not won any of their first three games this season. They have only one point so far.
