Origin
The “frat flick” is a dance move often attributed to American college fraternities, where young men at college parties are shown to be dancing to the music by standing relatively still, bobbing their heads, and “flicking” their outstretched hands. Videos of frat boys doing the dance move first began gaining viral traction in late 2023, with one notable viral video[6] being posted by TikToker @makenna.eoff, who gathered over 1 million views on her video before going private.
