While conflicting reports on the matter have left fans guessing for long now, Reynolds offered a humorous yet telling response during an Entertainment Weekly interview at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he was promoting John Candy: I Like Me today. Brushing off the question with a laugh, Reynolds quipped that he had not “stepped foot on set” of Doomsday, leaving his involvement shrouded in the same uncertainty as before.
