Google has begun introducing a new update to its Circle to Search tool that allows text translation to continue while a person scrolls through content. The feature removes the need to restart the process whenever fresh material appears on the screen, creating a smoother and more efficient experience for those who rely on translation while browsing.

The change builds on recent improvements to Google’s mobile translation tools and is designed to help people follow posts, feeds, or menus in other languages without interruption. Once the option is enabled, the tool continues to translate text as the page shifts, and it also remains active even if the user moves into another application. A soft visual indicator appears around the edge of the screen along with a panel that displays the target language, making it clear that the function is still running until it is manually stopped.

For now, the feature is being rolled out first to owners of selected Samsung Galaxy devices, with wider availability across Android expected to follow. The decision reflects a common pattern in which new mobile capabilities appear initially on Galaxy hardware before reaching the broader Android ecosystem.

This update is not the only refinement to Circle to Search in recent months. Google has also added support for quick actions on phone numbers, email addresses, and web links, extending the tool beyond search alone into tasks that simplify everyday interactions on mobile devices.
