
CARTI unveiled a cancer center in Heber Springs. Starting Thursday, September 4, CARTI will begin offering expanded services at its new location at 309 Southridge Parkway.
“The benefits of access to cancer care are clear, chief among them improved treatment outcomes and enhanced quality of life,” said Naveen Yarlagadda, M.D., M.S., FACP, a fellowship-trained medical oncologist. “We are excited to open the doors to the new CARTI Cancer Center in Heber Springs, ensuring trusted services are available as close to home and as convenient as possible for patients and their families.”
The CARTI Cancer Center in Heber Springs will offer medical oncology and infusion, as well as on-site lab services for streamlined diagnosis and treatment.
Later this year, CARTI will begin providing urology services for both men and women and diagnostic ultrasounds.
Future plans include The Breast Center at CARTI and expanded imaging capabilities, such as advanced scans and diagnostic CTs.
A board-certified medical oncologist, Dr. Yarlagadda completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, residency in internal medicine at the University of Buffalo- SUNY and M.D. at Osmania Medical College.
