Ronnie Mitchell Foster, who resided near Branch, Arkansas, died Sunday, August 10, 2025, at his home. He was born on October 28, 1949, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Wilmer A. Foster and Nila Mae (Davison) Foster. He was 75 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeremy Foster; and his sister, Belinda.

Ron served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. For many years, Ron was an electrician and was owner and operator of Ron Foster Electric, Inc. After his retirement, Ron started raising cattle and spending time on his farm. He loved his family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Bill VanMeter officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Coles Chapel Cemetery, located south of Branch, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara (Conard) Foster; a son, Todd Foster of Paris; two brothers, Donnie Foster and wife Nancy of Ratcliff and Randy Foster and wife Brigitte of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Brittany Foster and husband Chris Wigley, Brandon Foster and Phoenix, Madison Hurst and husband Shane, and Jaleigh Caples and husband Matthew; and three great-grandchildren, Kendall Wigley, Hadley Hurst and Hudson Hurst.

The visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Charleston.
