TELLA AND BONIFACE

West Ham United have been offered the opportunity to sign Victor Boniface, following the collapse of his proposed move to AC Milan, according to lates reports.

The Bayer Leverkusen striker, who scored 11 goals across all competitions last season, was close to joining Milan on loan with an option to buy for around £21m. However, the deal fell apart after the 24-year-old reportedly failed a medical, leaving his future uncertain just days before the transfer window closes.

A New Opportunity for West Ham?

With the Milan move now off the table, intermediaries have presented Boniface to West Ham, and the Bundesliga side is open to letting him go. Despite having four years left on a contract worth close to £95,000 per week, Leverkusen has been shopping him around Europe as he seeks a fresh challenge.

West Ham’s Struggles and Potential Signing

West Ham have had a tough start to the Premier League season, losing their first three matches. However, the club is already strengthening its squad with signings like Mateus Fernandes (Portugal Under-21 midfielder) and Soungoutou Magassa (Monaco defender).

Manager Graham Potter is considering whether to add a striker to his squad before the Monday 7pm deadline. Given Boniface’s physicality and impressive scoring record, he could be a good fit for Premier League football. His name has already caught the attention of several English clubs.

Could West Ham Move for Boniface?

Despite focusing on strengthening their midfield and defence, West Ham has not ruled out a late move for the Nigerian forward, who was also close to joining Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia in January.

Whether the Hammers move forward with an offer could depend on how quickly their other transfer talks are concluded. For Boniface, a potential move to the Premier League would be a big step in his career.
