Diana Sue Brock, 74, of Greenwood, Arkansas after a long, courageous fight with cancer, passed away peacefully Monday, August 25, 2025. She was surrounded with love and support from her husband and her 3 sons upon her passing. She was born February 25, 1951 in Hanover, New Hampshire to Edward Howard and Anna Melissa (Moses) Barnaby.
Diana was born and raised in the beautiful hills of Vermont, attending school in Tunbridge and South Royalton, VT. She married Lawrence on May 25, 1968. Over the next 5 years, they added to their little family with the birth of their three sons. Diana became outnumbered in a household of boys. A situation that she was often very thankful for, saying that she felt incredibly blessed to have all boys to raise. While raising her four boys (counting Larry of course), she worked as a Weight Watchers leader throughout Vermont and New Hampshire, ultimately becoming a lifetime member and respected leader. By 1992, Diana and Larry made the biggest move of their lives by relocating to Greenwood, AR. All her boys were through High School, so it was time for a new adventure. She carried her work with Weight Watchers with her to Arkansas. After retiring from Weight Watchers, Diana worked odd jobs here and there, until finding a great deal of enjoyment working as a Dealer for the Choctaw Casino. She worked dealing cards for almost 18 years, even through times of cancer treatments and hospitalizations quitting mere months before her passing.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Brock; three sons, Scott Brock, Christopher Brock and Anthony Brock; two brothers, Gordon Barnaby and James Barnaby; one sister, Jean Parker; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Deanna, Erika, Anna, Cameron, Grace, and Courtney; two step grandchildren, Maya and Odin; and one great grandchild, Alexander. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Barnaby and two sisters, Winona Barnaby and Elaine Barnaby.
There will be a memorial service in Vermont at a later date.
