After selling out fast yesterday, Final Fantasy I-VI Collection: Anniversary Edition is back in stock for only $45 at Amazon. Unlike the original deal, Amazon’s fresh restock includes the six-game retro collection on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The $45 deal for Switch and Switch 2 users matches the lowest price yet for the collection of all six Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters. The PS4 version is very close to its all-time low of $42.74 during Prime Day.

Released last October for Switch and PlayStation, this special Anniversary Edition comes with a sticker sheet of Final Fantasy character sprites. It’s worth emphasizing that this is a true physical release, with all six Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters on the Switch cartridge or PS4 disc (fully compatible with PS5). Square Enix initially released the physical in 2023, but the small print run sold out extremely fast. Last fall’s rerelease brought the collection to major retailers for the first time as the Anniversary Edition.

If you’re interested in picking up either version, we’d recommend jumping on this deal soon, as it’s unlikely to remain in stock for long. As mentioned, this same Switch deal sold out in less than a day once already. This was the most popular video game deal with GameSpot readers during the sales event, and Amazon sold out before the promotion officially ended.

Multiple other Final Fantasy retro collections have received boxed editions for Nintendo Switch over the years. Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster is the most affordable option at the moment, as it’s available for $27.73 at Amazon. Nintendo still sells the two-game combo pack for $50 on the Switch eShop, so you’re saving close to 50%. Just know that only FFX is on the card; a download is required for X-2. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is another remaster of a PS2 game that goes for $50 on the eShop, whereas a physical copy is less than $30 from Walmart.

The physical editions of the PS1-era Final Fantasy games didn’t officially release in North America, but you can get region-free international editions with English language text. You’ll only find the Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII Remastered: Twin Pack from third-party sellers, but this $35.34 offer is shipped by Amazon. Final Fantasy IX’s physical edition generally sells for more than double its $21 price on the eShop, but at least the box art looks great.

Final Fantasy PlayStation Game Deals

PlayStation users can get a great deal on Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade for PS5. The physical edition had been out of print for years before Square Enix made a fresh batch earlier this year. Amazon has Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade for only $30 right now. You can also save on the second part in Square Enix’s FF7 remake project. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is on sale for $40 (was $70) at Amazon and Walmart. If you buy your copy from Amazon, you’ll get a free DualSense controller skin with Cloud Strife and Sephiroth character art.

If you haven’t preordered Square Enix’s upcoming Final Fantasy Tactics remake, check out Amazon’s exclusive physical edition for Nintendo Switch and PS5 before it’s gone.

Role-playing game enthusiasts can save on more than just Final Fantasy titles at Amazon this week. Nintendo Switch and PlayStation console users can secure awesome discounts on other Square Enix JRPGs. Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake for Switch is on sale for $40 (was $60) at Amazon. The PS5 edition is sold out at Amazon, but you can snag a copy for $40 at Walmart. Square Enix’s HD-2D pixel art aesthetic looks lovely in the remastered version of this all-time classic. And with Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake launching October 30, now’s the ideal time to play Dragon Quest 3, as it’s actually the first game chronologically in the original DQ trilogy.

Other highlights in Amazon’s sale include Fantasian Neo Dimension and Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven. The former is an enhanced edition of the hit Apple Arcade RPG Fantasian. Notably, the game’s story was written by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the director of the first five Final Fantasy games. Meanwhile, Romancing SaGa 2 is a fantastic remake that is probably unlike any turn-based RPG you’ve played. Both games are up for grabs for $30 on Nintendo Switch and PS5.
