PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester City.

The Italian star, 26, is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world but has been banished from the PSG first team.

Reports in France had claimed he has been sidelined from training after being told by club chiefs that Lucas Chevalier, a £48million arrival from Lille, would be their new No 1.

Despite playing a vital role in last season’s success, the former AC Milan star has been told to find a new club before the window closes.

Donnarumma all but confirmed his imminent exit on Friday night as he appeared to bid farewell to the Parc des Princes in an emotional moment with PSG’s ultras.

The shot stopper has taken one step closer to making a move to the Premier League after agreeing to join City according to Fabrizio Romano.

PSG and City are also in talks, with the fee expected to  be under the initial £43.3m (€50m) request the French club made.

Donnarumma potential move to the Etihad also depends on Ederson, who is attracting interest from Galatasaray.

Amid doubts over his future, the Brazilian was on the bench for Saturday’s 2-0 defeat by Tottenham.

Summer signing James Trafford started the match – seemingly sealing his place as No 1 ahead of Ederson.

However, unlike his debut against Wolves last weekend, Trafford failed to impress and was at fault for Spurs’ second goal.

Guardiola was notably less definitive when asked about his goalkeeper situation in his pre-match press conference on Friday.

‘We’ll see tomorrow, we’ll see who trains good,’ said the City boss. ‘We’ll talk with [goalkeeping coach] Xabi [Mancisidor] and we’ll see. New players always bring energy.’
