The Duffer Brothers have managed to turn adolescent nostalgia and Demogorgon nightmares into a billion-dollar empire, and Hollywood has taken notice. Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer recently struck a major deal with Paramount Pictures, securing their place as storytellers who can balance spectacle with suburban awkwardness. With the brilliance of chess players and the instincts of carnival magicians, they know how to pull audiences in. Yet, even as Paramount sharpens its pencils, Netflix remains far from done with them.

Despite Paramount’s shiny offer, the Duffer Brothers still have a sprawling roster of projects waiting to drop on Netflix.
