Honor has introduced the X7c 5G as a successor to the 4G version released in late 2023. The new model brings 5G support, improved internals, and a high-refresh-rate display. It will be available in two color options and offers a single RAM and storage configuration.
Design and Display
The Honor X7c 5G features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 850 nits of peak brightness. The device includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security and supports stereo audio through dual speakers.
It carries an IP64 ingress protection rating and has received an SGS 5-star drop resistance certification for added durability. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also included. The Honor X7c 5G is available in Moonlight White and Forest Green.
Internals and Software
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, built on a 4nm process, and paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It runs MagicOS 8.0, based on Android 14, offering updated software features and multitasking capabilities out of the box.
Cameras
On the rear, the X7c 5G is equipped with a dual-camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor for background blur effects. For front-facing use, the device includes a 5MP selfie camera positioned in a centered punch-hole cutout.
Battery and Pricing
The smartphone includes a 5,200 mAh battery with support for 35W fast charging via USB-C. Connectivity features include dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi. It is priced at approximately $170 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration, with launch pricing valid for a limited time.
