Appearing on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast earlier this week, Marc Maron got unabashedly unfiltered about his fantasies concerning Dakota Johnson when he was posed a question coming straight from the actress. Even before Horowitz could ask the comedian what Johnson wanted him to ask of him, Maron leaped at the mere mention of her name, asking Horowitz to ask her instead if she would marry him. As Horowitz pointed out that Maron already has a significant other, the latter said, “I know, but this is fantasy,” completely standing his ground and saying, for her, he would “rethink a lot.”

Moreover, Marc Maron was asked by Josh Horowitz if he was a fan of Dakota Johnson’s work. To this, Maron replied, “I love her.” Adding to his confession, Maron further divulged that he once talked to Johnson’s father but realized it would not be appropriate for him to ask for his daughter’s number. Josh Horowitz then offered to make the magic happen for Maron. Dakota Johnson, however, was not the only Hollywood beauty on Marc Maron’s mind. He threw in the name of another contemporary diva as well, this one, a The Devil Wears Prada icon.

Maron’s confession added another layer to his reputation of being refreshingly raw, while still being respectful toward those he discusses.

For the record, not much is known about Marc Maron’s current girlfriend, except that her name is Kit. The couple has been together since 2023, following Maron’s previous relationship with director Lynn Shelton, who passed away in 2020.
