He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Huggins) McCutchen; daughter, Lisa Napurano and fiancé, Jerry Hogye of Fort Worth; son, Joey McCutchen and wife, Shirley, of Fort Smith; sister-in-law, Ginger McCutchen, and her daughter, Mauren; three grandchildren, Stephen Napurano and wife, Ashley; Victoria McCutchen; and Elizabeth (McCutchen) Baker and husband, T.J.; and great-granddaughters, Natalie Ramona Napurano and Madeleine, all of Fort Smith.
He was a pharmacist and owner of Joe McCutchen’s Health Services, founder of Southwest Pharmaceuticals, a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and the U of A Health Science Center, Little Rock, AR; and a 67-year active pilot. In his sophomore year, he became a co-pilot for the University of Arkansas out-of-state football games and a spotter. He played the violin and was a longtime writer of exposés, mostly directed at corrupt bureaucrats, politicians, and their practices, decades ago recognizing the ongoing decay of Anglo-Western Civilization in our Republic (few were and are listening), a strong defender of true Southron Heritage and the bedrock truth of its history never taught in public schools and universities. Many of his articles can be found on his website, www.arkansasfreedom.net. Early in his career in pharmacy, he was a visiting adjunct professor at the U of A School of Pharmacy in Little Rock. He served in the military; near the end of his tour, he was appointed an aide to Lt. General Rush B. Lincoln, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Transportation Corps. Joe was a Master Mason, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, a Shriner, and a member of the Royal Order of Jesters. He was a volunteer pilot for Shrine Clubs and Temples throughout Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee and freely used his airplane to fly crippled children to Shriners Hospitals.
