Rising Twitch streamer RileyCS_ has been unbanned amidst allegations that she was cheating at the Battlefield 6 beta by using an aimbot.

The allegations were leveled against RileyCS after she posted a video on X that’s now gone viral, resulting in a whole lot of backlash and a follow-up video that attempted to prove her innocence.

But is RileyCS_ innocent or was she actually caught cheating? Here’s what we know.

Who Is ‘RileyCS’ And What Are The Allegations Against Her?

RileyCS_ is a VTuber with over 5,300 followers on Twitch. She is mostly known for her gaming streams, where she plays FPS games like Call of Duty and, recently, the Battlefield 6 beta. RileyCS uses a cat girl avatar designed to look like a sketchbook drawing.

On August 8th, RileyCS posted a video of her Battlefield 6 beta footage to X and it blew up, gaining over 50 million views and 18,000 likes in under a week.

However, some commenters found the footage and RileyCS’s skill level suspicious. They picked the video apart and began accusing RileyCS of using an aimbot to cheat at the game. Aimbots heavily assist players in aiming at other players, allowing them to aim at them through walls. RileyCS vehemently defended herself from these accusations in the comments, but they just kept on coming.

How Did RileyCS Respond To The Cheating Allegations?

Unable to convince many people that she wasn’t cheating, RileyCS decided to post another video to X to provide evidence. On August 10th, she uploaded a video of herself playing the game with a “handcam,” meaning a camera recording her hand movements in the bottom corner of the screen. For many, this was good enough proof that she was innocent.

Others, however, weren’t convinced. Controversial streamer Tectone continued accusing RileyCS of cheating, turning some of his fanbase against RileyCS despite the evidence. RileyCS didn’t back down though, insisting she never cheated and directly commenting back at Tectone.

Amidst all the drama, RileyCS was also banned on Twitch, which some assumed was because of the cheating allegations. However, it has also been hypothesized that she was banned because of mass-reporting, with the ban being lifted a day later.
