Alisha Lehmann has made a surprise move from Juventus after helping them win a league and cup double last season by joining Serie A side Como.
Lehmann, 26, only joined the Bianconeri a year ago from Aston Villa along with her former partner Douglas Luiz.
However, she is now looking for a fresh start after enduring a difficult time of things at Euro 2025 – as she played just 10 minutes for hosts Switzerland.
Previously dubbed the ‘world’s sexiest footballer’, she has amassed an enormous following on social media, with over 17million followers on Instagram alone.
The Swiss international has also made waves in recent through her relationship with former Villa midfielder and Brazil international Luiz.
They reportedly split in May, having first started dating in 2021, before they broke up a year later and rekindled at the start of 2024 only to now have allegedly separated once again.

Her move alongside Luiz – when they both Juventus from Villa – was the first ‘couples transfer’ of its kind, but Lehmann saw her 2024-25 campaign disrupted by fitness issues.
Lehmann was then criticisedfor her alleged over-the-top celebrations after Juventus beat AC Milan to win the Serie A title, given she has played just 37 minutes this year.
Following their triumph, the jubilant Juventus players were quick to revel in their achievement, dancing on the field in formation.
But Lehmann appeared to be leading the dance at the front on her own, with her team-mates lined up behind her, and this appeared to touch a nerve with some supporters, who argued she had a minimal role in the actual campaign.
Outlining her reasons for joining Como, Lehmann said that it was because of the Italian side’s ethos when it comes to women’s football.
Speaking to The Guardian, she said: ‘It’s an independent club, fully focused on women’s football – and that really matters to me,’ the former Aston Villa, Everton and West Ham player says.
‘From the start, I could see this wasn’t just another team; it’s a project with real purpose and vision. [So] signing with FC Como Women just felt right.’
The club were purchased in 2024 by investment group Mercury13, which pledged to ‘rethink football ownership’ – although the women’s side does not have any affiliation with the men’s team.

She previously dated fellow Juventus star Douglas Luiz, but they have reportedly split up

During Euro 2025, she gave behind-the-scenes insight into what the Swiss national team get up to off the field
Lehmann was given her own bodyguard at Euro 2025 due to her significant popularity with fans at the tournament.
‘We always ensure that the safety of the players is our top priority in all stadiums,’ Sven Micosse, press spokesperson for the Swiss women’s national team, told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet.
‘This is organized by UEFA during the tournament, and our head of security is always on site.
‘After the matches, he is always there when the players approach the fans, and due to Alisha Lehmann’s fame, he sometimes accompanies them a little further.’
Lehmann gave her followers a behind-the-scenes look into life at the Euros away from the pitch, embarking on sight-seeing trips and days off with her team-mates.
Some football fans have instead hailed Swedish striker Alice Sondergaard as the ‘world’s sexiest footballer instead – after she completed her move to Genoa last month.
Sondergaard, 22, has already made waves at the top level, having received her first call-up for her country aged 15.
She will now look to keep Genoa in the Italian top-flight after they were promoted to the division for the very first time.

Sondergaard was crucial to Bologna’s superb campaign last time out, a club which fought Genoa for a spot in the top-flight until the bitter end.
She previously played for Verona, also in Italy, and scored plenty of goals in Serie B.
But her latest high-profile move has seen her thrust into the spotlight again and supporters were quick to focus on her beauty, placing her on a pedestal above Switzerland superstar Lehmann.
