
Baptist Health College Little Rock announced Dr. Crystal Rose, Ph.D, MHA, RN, NR-EMT, CNE, as the college’s new Dean of Nursing, effective Monday (Aug. 11).
Prior to joining Baptist Health College Little Rock, Rose practiced nursing for over 23 years and is a nationally certified nurse educator. She focused her expertise in critical care, nursing leadership and higher education. She also practices as an independent legal nurse consultant.
Rose received her doctoral degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2019. She has served on multiple research projects and has been published in the Arkansas Emergency Nurses Association publication and presented at the University of Arkansas Nursing Professional Development Center, the Arkansas Nursing Research Conference, the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses Conference and the Nursing Education in the Rockies National Conference.
She is also a scholar for the National Institute for Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention specializing in the use of big data and retrospective research.
Rose earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and her Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Baptist Health College Little Rock, part of Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock, has nine programs of study, including two nursing programs and seven allied health programs.
