A man identifying himself as a neighbor, Atif Shams Khokar, declared the demise of Atif Aslam’s father on Facebook, a post that has gathered the interest of people on social networks in a short period. The 12th August post read that the late father of Atif Aslam was an ordinary and punctual visitor to the local mosque, that being a simple man with a very simple heart, he is dearly remembered with all respect.
Adil Shams Khokar’s message included a prayer for the deceased: “May Allah grant him the highest ranks in Jannah”, followed by the Quranic verse “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un”.
