The Carlos Montgomery Controversy or Carlos69m Controversy refers to backlash over a TikToker allegedly named Carlos Montgomery, formerly @carlos69m (now @notcee74), after he posted numerous videos making sexual jokes about kindergarteners. Carlos went viral in early August 2025 as TikTokers began calling him out for his content and attempting to get him banned from the platform. The @carlos69m account was deleted or removed as people continued to call him out, dox his private information and generally make his life difficult, resulting in Carlos opening a new account, @notcee74. Carlos continued to post content responding to the outrage, including a video in which he claims to be getting a psych evaluation against his wishes. YouTube Jidion, a predator hunter, repeatedly commented on the content of Carlos, suggesting he was trying to find him.

On August 5th, 2025, TikToker @ifoundtut posted a video reacting to several videos from the now-deleted @carlos69m TikTok account. All of the videos feature jokes about Carlos wanting to “grape” kindergarteners and watching CP. The TikTokers tell Carlos to get help, call it “scary,” and point out that he’s posting the content without even getting any significant likes. YouTuber Jidion commented on the video, “Any body know his real name?” The video gained over 450,000 views in five days.
While the @carlos69m TikTok account has since been deleted, TiKTokers like @carlos699m.m have archived some of the content.

TikTokers continued to call out Carlos for his content. Most notably, on August 5th, 2025, TikToker @starscream__ posted a video reacting to the content and encouraging viewers to “do something about that,” garnering over 9.5 million views in six days.

Notcee74 / Carlos’ Response / Psych Eval
After the initial callout in early August 2025, other TikTokers continued to post videos reacting to Carlos’ content with disgust and trying to get him banned from the app. In response, Carlos started a new account, @notcee74, or ceebot1.
On August 8th, 2025, he posted a video to TikTok refusing to apologize for anything, saying he “wants his cut,” garnering over 554,000 views in three days.
That day, he posted another video to TikTok suggesting that the people mad at him for making the inappropriate jokes might be projecting their own predatory feelings, garnering over 430,000 views in three days.

Later on August 8th, the TikToker uploaded a video from what appears to be the back of an emergency service vehicle, writing, “You own family will switch up on you blood not thicker than water. Getting Psych eval,” garnering over 503,000 views in three days.

That same day, he posted another video to TikTok from the same location comparing himself to FouseyTUBE, who struggles with mental health problems and has gone viral for acting inappropriately online because of this in the past, garnering over 814,000 views in three days.

Online Reactions
The backlash towards Carlos was severe, with numerous TikTokers posting videos calling him out in early August 2025. Some started attempting to dox Carlos, posting images of what they believed to be his home in his comment sections.
